Hi everyone!
I'm back after a four week holiday, we had the weekend (duh) then a day off for Anzac commemorations, then a teacher only day! So yes, I'm refreshed and ready to learn :)
This week we have two blog challenges, as its a short week. The first is to interview an animal. It could be a pet or a random animal. I chose a falcon, hence the title. I decided to make a stop-motion animation to show the interview, so I'll link it below.
Interview with Sir Falcon
Hope you guys have been having fun in lock down,

Will the Leaning tower of Pisa Topple over?
Hi guys! This is our last post of this week, and it's about the leaning tower of Pisa! Hope you enjoy :)
The Leaning tower of Pisa was built in 1272, which makes it 748 years old! It was built on marshy land, which was made of wet sand, clay and mud, which created the iconic tilt. Personally, I haven't seen a leaning building, much less the tower of Pisa, though I'd love to travel to Italy! Yes, I would climb to the top of the tower! I'm much like a cat, I love heights (and sleeping, the warm sun, doing nothing all day)... the list goes on. I would also be fine with standing under it, as it's been designed to stand stabilised to stand it its current position for three hundred years. It is possible to straiten a building, as the Leaning tower of Pisa proves. However, I don't think we should straiten the tower, as it would remove it's iconic quirk.
Megan has asked us to also build our own leaning tower, so below I'll ad some photos :)

I did try to add another book-relevantly thick, 445 pages- and it toppled! Yes, that's a metal straw with blue tack holding it up, and no, I'm not a vsco girl!!
Hope you enjoyed this post, and maybe you should try to make your own leaning tower :)

Word Art About Me
Hi everyone!
School started for Otaki College one week ago. Megan has set work for us everyday, as has Ms Diver (our maths teacher), so I've been pretty busy!
This week, we have three blog challenges- I've posted two of them- this is the second. This is word art around me, what makes me happy, what I like, and about my personality too. Megan said to aim for twenty words, so I did that, and I really enjoyed this challenge.
Hope you guys are doing okay,
Annelise :)

Imaginary Animal
This is a Scar- my made up creature. A Scar is a magical fox-like creature with bright green swirls shifting over its walnut coloured fur, and bright green eyes which matched its shimmering patterns. They live in many woods, though they are rare and difficult to find. Strong and intelligent, Scars are almost impossible to tame - if they feel threatened, they will attack. And there's only one winner in this situation.
There are other variations of the Scar, they're elemental. Skark is the water version, with sea foam green and aqua blue wave designs on its silver-blue fur. The bright orange, yellow and red flames dance across the pitch black fur of Harbs, the fire-foxes.
Let me know what you think of my creatures in the comments :)

Garden Insect
Hi everyone!
I'm sorry I didn't end up posting much over the holidays. I didn't have much time- I've been walking like a mad person, biking, drawing, writing, making art- the lost goes on. This week Megan asked us to go into our gardens and pick a heap of flowers, twigs, leaves- anything really- and make an insect out of them. This is mine!
Hope ya'll are doing okay in lock down. Let me know what you're doing to pass the time.
Annelise :)
