Music

Hi everyone!
So today it's (already) week three of music. So far, we've voted on a song called 'Smelly Cat' from a old series called 'Friends'. I, personally, didn't vote for this, but the majority did, so I have to learn it with them. Some people are learning the guitar for it, some keyboard, one of my friends, Alex, is playing the flute for it and I'd like to sing. Our teacher is Mrs Devane, shes really kind.

We've also been learning the chords A major, E major, E minor and D major. We learnt the same on piano. My fingers aren't impressed with the guitar chords, they almost look like a mountain range afterwards. I really enjoy keyboard (piano) so far and I look forward to learning and singing the lyrics of 'Smelly Cat.'

I've enjoyed this so far, and I'm looking forward to preforming with my class in a few weeks. If you look in a while, you'll see it too, as we are going to record it.

I was wondering, which options do you enjoy and which ones are you doing so far?
I hope you have a great day, and bye :)

  1. Hi Annelise, I am Candice from Glenbrae School. I think that it's really interesting that you and your class members are learning how to sing as well as playing instruments. I myself, personally love music. I come from a family that sings as well as playing instruments. I love to sing and play Guitar. Maybe you could post a video of you and your class members playing. Feel free to visit my blog https://gbscandicef.blogspot.com/

  3. Hi Annalise,

I'm really pleased you are enjoying Music and that you are happy to go along with the majority choice. We will be getting out microphones soon. I think Smelly Cat is coming along well and we will do a recording pretty soon. I look forward to working more with your class.

    Thanks, Mrs Devane
