Last week, Megan asked us to research the 1970s in New Zealand, as this is where the book we are going to read is set. Drew, Giorgio and I formed a group of three and began searching. I focused on fashion, food and music, Drew on technology and Historical events was by Giorgio. I enjoyed this challenge, it was fun and simple.

Rain Machine
Hiya,
Hope you guys had an awesome holiday, I did, it was fun to be able to hang out with friends :)
Today in Homeroom, Megan was away sick but she'd left us a blog challenge. This time we had to watch a short video, then think about some questions, and them make our own weather machine. My machine makes rain, what would yours make?
It would be really cool if you made one and linked it in the comments- though if you don't want to, you don't have too.
See you next week,
Annelise :)

Hungry Dragon Game
Hiya,
This week Megan has set us different challenges that focus on teamwork, We have made stars for Matariki and today we made a game with a funny dragon that breathes fire and flies. We were challenged at first but once we followed instructions we were able to create our game together. The instructions are easy, The arrow keys move you in any direction but when you press the space bar makes you spin. The aim of the game is to collect as many doughnuts as possible!
